The first points of the game were scored by Devyn Marble, but after a while Caio Pacheco and Mike Lewis II scored 10 points in a row, thanks to which MKS was leading 12:4 after 3 minutes. In response, Dino Cinac tried to drive the offensive of the visitors, but the 10 points he scored in the first quarter was not enough and MKS won the first ten minutes 27:20. In the second quarter, the hosts continued to build their advantage. It was possible mainly thanks to Mike Lewis II, who scored 17 points before the break! The advantage quickly reached a double-digit difference and remained practically unchanged for the entire quarter. 2:22 minutes before the end of the quarter, Borna Kapusta reduced the difference to 9 points for a moment, but in response Marcin Piechowicz and Caio Pacheco scored from a distance and KK Gorica was losing again by 15 points. First of all, the guests had a problem with stopping the MKS offensive and the hosts hit as many as 10 out of 14 shoots from beyond the arc.
The team from Croatia started the second half with two successful shoots for 3. The visitors, however, were not able to reduce the point difference, which remained virtually unchanged until the end of the match. MKS also responded with an accurate throw to each attack by the guests. As in the first quarter, Dino Cinac was the leader in the attack, scoring 24 points, hitting 7 of 10 shoots and all 7 free throws, and Borna Kapusta (16 points, 12 assists) scored a double-double. The hosts, however, played very much as a team, recording 22 assists and as 6 players had double-digit score.
